How Much Could Your Face Be Worth?

Welcome or welcome back to my madness. So this whole "How Much is Your Face Worth?" tag has been my focus for the day. I took photos and published my post which can be found here. However, it made me think how low could I get my number and how high could I get my number? I didn't want to know; but, then again I had to know. A few years ago, I was using high end brands exclusively. Then about a year ago I began couponing and discovered the thrill of getting makeup for pennies. So, I started off by scouring my collection for the least expensive products that I actually use. This is what I found.

**Items were promotional items sent for review purposes

Grand Total .............................................. $70.07

If I consider promo items, sales and coupons the total I paid out of pocket is $30.96 which is a complete bargain. I couldn't decide between the ELF lipstick or the Wet N Wild Lipstick because I really enjoy both. Therefore, I decided to include both in the post since they both cost the same amount. However, I only included one in the cost of the total. I will say that I wear each and every one of these products. They are all quality products that work well for me. As you saw in my recent empties post, I got rid of products that don't work for me or that were getting no use.

Next up, the high end products. I no longer own any high end foundations as I have discovered great drugstore options which work well for me.

Grand Total ................................ $395.95

OMG! I had no idea I could potentially be wearing almost $400 in makeup on my face. Granted some of these items came as part of a kit such as the Tarte Lipsurgence and the few drugstore items were bought with coupons. I probably paid around $263.00 rather than the $395.95 but even at $263.00 that's expensive! Oh I don't know if I should have done this. Wow! I will say that out of everything here the products I will repurchase is the Laura Geller Balance N Brighten. It truly is amazing and it's worth every penny. I will miss the Tarte True Blood Palette and MAC Azalea Blossom; but, they are were limited edition. So they will be sorely missed. The other items are nice but there are drugstore versions that I enjoy just as well.
